My Photo Booth is a photo booth application for social events (weddings, birthdays, sweet 16s, graduations, communions, and more). Our services are available via iOS app, Android app, and web browser at myphotobooth.app.

2. Information We Collect

Account information (organizers only):

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Password (stored encrypted via Firebase Authentication)

Event information:

• Event name, date, and type
• Guest display names (first name only, entered by each guest)
• Photos and collages taken during events

Usage data (automatically collected):

• Device type and operating system
• App usage patterns (anonymous)
• Error logs for debugging

We do not collect government IDs, financial information, or precise location data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your events
• To send event confirmation emails (via EmailJS)
• To display photos in your private event gallery
• To allow guests to join events using access codes
• To improve the app experience

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your photos for advertising or AI training.

4. Photos and Media

Photos taken during events are stored securely on Cloudinary (cloudinary.com) and Firebase (Google Cloud). They are only accessible to:

• The event organizer (via their admin account)
• Guests who have the event access code

Photos are not shared publicly. You may request deletion of your photos at any time by contacting us at privacy@myphotobooth.app.

5. Camera Access

The app requests access to your device's camera solely for the purpose of taking photos during your event session. We do not access your camera at any other time, and we do not access your existing photo library without your explicit permission.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication and database storage
• Cloudinary — Photo and collage storage
• EmailJS — Sending event confirmation emails
• Netlify — Website and web app hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum necessary data with each provider.

7. Data Retention

• Event data and photos are retained for 12 months after the event date, then automatically deleted.
• Account data is retained until you request deletion.
• Guest display names are retained only for the duration of the event.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct — Update any inaccurate information
• Delete — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — Request your photos in a downloadable format
• Withdraw consent — Stop using the app at any time

9. Children's Privacy

My Photo Booth is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Events such as communions and sweet 16s may include minors as guests. In these cases, the event organizer (an adult) is responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from parents or guardians.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Firebase Authentication for secure account management
• Access codes to restrict event access
• No plaintext password storage

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
